Very large late 19th.c. papier mache tray c.1890. 32″ x 26″ oval tray with exceptional handpainted floral decoration featuring numerous recognizable botanical specimens within a gilt decorated edge. Raised on a later fold wrought iron stand (c.1930) to make a useful occasional table which can be easily stored flat when not required. Some obvious crazing to the top lacquer but generally good original condition.
