A Hukin & Heath silver plated lamp with engraved decoration circa 1890 which would originally have been an oil lamp base. In working order but should be checked by a qualified electrician prior to use.
The interior of the domed base has been lead-lined for extra stability so the maker’s mark can no longer be seen but other examples can be viewed online showing the H&H mark. As well as oil lamps, Hukin & Heath also made candlesticks using the same design.
Measures 33 cm high including light fitting and weighs 1.7 kg.
In good antique condition with some wear to the silver plating in places. Currently shipping to UK and USA.
