Late 19th century black leather Indian Dhal shield. Has 4 brass bosses. Shield painted with hunting scenes. There is a floral design around the edge of the shield and central boss has painted animal and floral work. There is no original pad on back of shield and some wear to paintwork. Shield is in sound condition.

Approximately 48cm in diameter.
