Late 19th Century Leather Chesterfield
A lovely quality deep buttoned dark red leather upholstered chesterfield. This antique leather chesterfield dating to 1890-1900 is full of character and one of the most comfortable chesterfield I have sat in. Having a mellow deep red colour the leather is in very good condition having no rips or tears.
With large scrolled arms and deep buttoned seat the chesterfield is raised on very good quality mahogany bun feet and brass castors with the back leg having a stamped set of numbers indicating a possible patent stamp and therefore being made by a quality upholstery firm of its time. It is extremely well made, very heavy and super comfortable.
