Late 19th century Omani Kattara Sword in it's leather scabbard. Has a tapering, leather bound grip inlaid with silver wire and a square iron pommel. The pommel is a heavy square steel piece which acts as a counter weight to the very long blade resulting in a very well balance sword. Leather bound wooden scabbard with silver wire bound and with floral embossed silver top mount. Has a leather hanging strap. Long, tapering double edged blade with central fuller. In good overall condition.

Approximately 116cm overall and blade length 91.5cm.
