Late 19th century Japanese wakizashi sword. Has a shark skin grip and an iron tsuba which is decorated with an entwinned dragon. Black lacquer and with a signed, copper mounted and decorated Kozuka. Slightly curved blade with some original polish and small patches of rust staining. The tang has three old mounting holes in it. In generally sound condition but grip binding and end cap are missing.

Approximately 59cm overall and blade 40.5cm.
