Late 19th century German made, Italian issued cavalry sabre. Note there is no scabbard with this. Marked with makers name and place of manufacture - Solingen. Has a steel pierced bowl guard with ribbed leather grip. Grip has some of it's brass wire but is in worn condition. Has a curved, single fullered broad blade. This sword has general wear overall.

Approximately 104cm and blade 90cm.
