Late 19th century/early 20th century Abyssinian Shotel sword. Has a two piece horn grip with silver metal dome pommel. European made, wide double edged broadsword blade. Has two fullers with etched decoration and engraved at forte with the lion of Judah (Menelik II). In good condition overall. Blade is roughly sharpened and there is a slight chip to hilt.

Approximately 93cm overall and blade 80cm.
