Late 19th century Indian Double headed engraved axe. Of all iron construction. The two double blades are acid etched on both sides with foliage and with a central motif. There are traces of silver goft gari work. Tapering, square design central spike fit to an all steel round haft with a domed end pommel. Has general age wear overall but in solid condition.

Approximately 76.5cm overall and each blade has a diameter of 19cm.
