Large William IV extending dining table 11'
This is a very impressive and very good quality original William IV solid mahogany extending dining table, circa 1840 and in fantastic condition.
Viewing it in person is recommended to get a real feel for the quality of this table.
The table will comfortably seat 12 to 14 and being a triple pedestal table, there are not multiple legs in the way of your feet.
I have shown the table fully extended, using all three pedestal sections and the two additional / removable leaves, but you can reduce the total length to suit, even down to using just the two end pedestals joined together and the centre pedestal section can be tilted up and placed aside.
I have had the table fully restored and polished, so you are seeing it sympathetically restored and not over restored. This is a super table and has a lot of age, nice to see some of that when you are buying such a quality piece of antique furniture.
It is certainly a solid / sturdy table when being used, the three pedestal bases giving great support.
The pedestals are well carved with their lions paw feet and also have their original castors.
