This is a good quality Victorian brass bed. It dates to around 1880 and is solid and heavy and totally original. The brass bed has large ornate footboard and headboard with good brass work finials and knobs and stands on pot casters. The bed takes a standard double mattress 54 inches wide and 75 inches long.

Condition of the bed is good. Minor dinks and age related mark as you would expect. The bed comes with its original iron side rails. (The bed splits for moving.)

This is a top quality bed. It has a lot of the Wow factor you would expect without being ostentatious. It's a gentleman's bed.

The bed headboard is 63 inches high and the footboard is 50 inches high and the bed takes a standard double mattress 54 inches wide and 75 inches long.

The bed is a rail bed. It comes with its side irons and attachments. As with all rail beds you will need to get some pine slats to run between the rails and some batons to run parallel to the rails to which you can screw the slats. This is really easy and you will get all you need and all the advice you need from any builders merchants. The materials are very inexpensive.
