This is a large bamboo artists easel from a good country house estate in Cumbria dating from the mid Victorian era circa 1860. This is a good size measuring 208cm high by 88cm wide and is quite a rare find in bamboo, with its original adjustable height bamboo frame supports with turned mahogany roundel ends.
