A lovely large post office sorting cabinet. We date this cabinet to the very early 20th century.

The cabinet comes in one large section for transport, please be aware of its height regarding access and around corners etc.

The cabinet is fitted with various pigeon holes and shelves. It has been fitted into the shop rather than being a stand alone item. There are marks for hinges so it would have had doors at some previous point in its life.

The cabinet has an overall height of 95" (242cm), a width of 41" (104cm) and a depth of 10” (25cm).

This lovely cabinet remains in a good solid condition with surface markings commensurate with age and usage, these include some scratches and a few indented marks from past use. As can be seen in the pictures, there is a fair amount of wear to the painted surface, primarily around the base and exposed edges.

This remains a very stylish cabinet and will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
