Large Stripped Pine 2 Over 4 Chest of Drawers
Looking for lots of storage in one place, then this is it. An antique Mid Victorian (1850/60's) stripped pine chest of drawers with a Welsh heritage.
This was originally painted a soft green then over it's lifetime painted another 4 times.
We have stripped all the paint, including the final white gloss by hand leaving a lovely piece of antique furniture with character.
Condition...
Each drawer has an intricate border of little flowers and unfortunately e found it impossible to strip all of the paint with causing damage (looks like someone had tried before).
Hence you have a lovely stripped pine chest of drawers with traces of paint just here and there but especially on each drawer edge. Please see pictures for more detail.
We have cleaned and waxed this throughout. You may find a smell of wax on the furniture so we advise as with any antique piece that you line the drawers with scented drawer liners before using. If it's a spotless, new piece of furniture then this item is not for you

Depth of the drawers are 12.5 cm, 15 cm, 17.5 cm, 20 cm and the base drawer a whopping 33 cm, perfect for bed linen or blankets or even your thickest winter jumpers. .

We always use a fully insured courier but he is usually on his own, so please when you make arrangements with the him for delivery please make sure there is someone available to help him if required. Collection is usually well within 14 days of the order being placed and delivery is usually 8 to 10 days after that.

For UK deliveries we use Royal Mail 2nd class or Parcelforce 48 and always signed for and always fully insured
Sending parcels abroad we use parcel2go, we always fully insure each parcel and use signed for delivery.
If you are outside of the UK or shipping is not quoted for your country and you would like to purchase this item, then please contact us and we will get a postage/shipping quote for you.
RETURNS...
We will gladly accept returns within 14 days of delivery if the item is not as described or broken in transit.
However, if you just simply change your mind and there is nothing wrong with the item then we do not accept returns.
