A large fine French carriage antique clock with strike/repeat/alarm. Corinthian capped fluted front and back side columns. Dentil cornice mouldings to the top and base panels. The original case gilding. Stepped case mouldings and a fine carrying handle with fluted centre. An enamel dial with subsidiary alarm hand. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong. Push button repeating. Numbered 1758. Circa. 1895.
