A large and most impressive pair of gilt bronze wall lights superb in quality cast with triple candle sconces each arm fluted on curve sweeps into the ancuthus main body which has acorn base the tops are finished with a woven basket overflowing with fruit consisting of pears, apples , grapes and a pineapple .
Acorn represents - Generally, acorns are considered a symbol of good luck and abundance.
Pineapple represents a Symbol of Luxury Since the fruit was so perishable, it became a symbol of luxury, nobility, and wealth throughout Europe. A single pineapple could fetch a fortune. Thus, the host who was able to present freshly cut pineapple to his or her guests was the one with money, power, and connections.
