Large Oak Draw-Leaf Dining Table
This attractive draw-leaf dining table dates from around the 1920s/1930s. We believe it to be of continental (North European) origin. It has an extension leaf that pulls out at either side. The table is supported on tapering legs with rounded feet. It would seat up to ten people when fully extended.
Condition: Overall this attractive table is in good usuable condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing and wear to the woodwork as might be expected and the piece is overall a little faded. The top has some marking, staining and scratching and would benefit from being repolished. The leaves are a slightly different colour to the centre, and there is some wood shrinkage cracking to the top of one of the leaves. There are some minor areas of wood loss in places. The top is missing the wooden locating dowels that hold it securely in place - it is usuable without these, but it would benefit from them being replaced.
