Antique large Georgian 19C oak chest of 2 over 4 drawers.

This is a rare tall chest with a large storage capacity.

Designed to be split into two halves for transport/getting up stairs.

This is a lovely chest, that is full of age, charm and character.

The oak lined drawers slide freely.

Overall maximum dimensions 110cmW x 55cmD x 126.5cmH (50.5cm bottom+76cm top).

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. Internal marks and stains to the drawers as usual. No keys and the locks are untested (one lock is missing). There are some historical woodworm holes, believed extinct that we have treated for good measure.

Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person(s) for our driver to assist with carrying.
