An impressive and unusual large antique Edwardian lions head carved oak stool dating from circa 1910. The rectangular seat is upholstered in an aged tan leather with brass nail heads and is raised on lions head carved cabriole legs united by turned cross stretchers. The lions heads are crisply carved, the oak with good figuring and patina and the leather glossy and well-aged. It has the initials “ER” carved to each side. A very impressive, large seat that is solid and sturdy and would make a wonderful dressing table stool or window seat.

Solid and sturdy. Good colour and original patina. Various marks and wear commensurate with age. Some marks/ stains to the aged leather.
