A fine, large, heavy quality, early Victorian mahogany circular dining table. The highly figured top is segmented in eight sections radiating out towards the edge, the top is supported on a hexagonal column standing on a three sided platform base terminating in well carved lion’s paw feet. The top tilts up and can be easily separated from the base as necessary. This is a large table and will seat six very comfortably but can seat up to eight people. It retains its fine old polished surface and is in excellent strong condition. Sizes: 54”(137cms) diameter, 28”(71cms) high. Date circa 1840. I have been in the antiques business since 1962, starting in the family business in Staffordshire.
In the early 1970’s I moved to Hertfordshire where I opened my own business and created a limited company.
