A beautiful large 19th century Chinese dinner gong, the hardwood stand intricately carved with a bat, the Chinese symbol of happiness and joy, amongst pierced fruiting vines, the circular hammered bronze gong suspended to the centre and with original beater. Lovely deep sound when struck, floor standing and heavy, in very good condition.
