Impressive Arts & Crafts oak open bookshelves c.1900. Standing six feet six inches tall and very nearly five feet wide. With an open shelf flanked by lockable cupboards with beautiful leaded glass panels with coloured and textured glass forming an Art Nouveau inspired seed head motif. Over four adjustable shelves (depth 10½") with hinged dust covers affording over 21 feet of shelf space for books etc. Flared and moulded cornice with a dental frieze, shaped apron over the centre shelf, original brass handles and locks. Reeded detail to the uprights and shelf fronts. Raised on short turned and segmented legs front and rear with a repeat of the shaped apron at the front. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
