Offered for sale is this superb quality Victorian walnut telescopic dining table extending from approximately 60" x 47" extending to 94" x 47" with two original leaves, a comfortable 10 seater. It is a warm mellow brown walnut colour that would work equally well with both walnut and mahogany chairs. The rectangular top has rounded edges with a moulded edge above turned, reeded and fluted supports and standing on original brass and ceramic castors. The extending mechanism works very smoothly and comes complete with winding handle. The table has been cleaned and sympathetically repolished whilst retaining its original character. It is in excellent showroom condition and dates to about 1870. Over the past 30 years we have sold over a thousand sets of chairs along with hundreds of dining antique tables to satisfied customers.
