Circa 1890, large sized late Victorian walnut stool. With recently reupholstered, large stuffover seat and fabric secured by close brass studding, over a simple beaded walnut rail. Standing on turned supports with fluting, united by stretchers with similar carving. Finishing on a small beaded, gilded brass collar with brown porcelain castors. It could also make an excellent coffee table.
