This large antique mahogany dining table will seat 10 people comfortably when fully extended. It's solid mahogany & very well made. There are two clusters of four swept out legs on brass capped casters with a turned column above, which provide plenty of support for all the leafs. There are also two long bearers underneath which support the extra leafs, plus there are brass fork clips that hold everything together. This table is in fabulous condition & has just been French polished. There are no warps or splits. Also, these twin pedestal dining antique tables are the most practicable to sit around, because there are no legs that get in the way of the chairs. I would date this table to around the 1950's period, although it maybe older than that.
