This is a beautiful large early 20th century French lamp of good scale dating from around 1910. The lamp is in perfect condition and a most imposing piece with beautiful hand painted detail and a lovey tightly fluted design to the body of the piece. The lamp is painted in the typical French polychrome fiancé colours from the period with lovely shades of cobalt blue, forest green and ironstone red on an ivory ground.
The lamp is in perfect condition with no damage or restoration and measures 74 cms high overall including the shade which is 40 cms in diameter. The base of the lamp is 48 cms high and measures 24 cms in diameter.
