This is a large antique farmhouse dining table. An English, pine and traditionally ebonised pine kitchen or country house table for 10-12 people, dating to the Victorian period and later, circa 1900.
Wonderfully proportioned for the large family or dinner party
Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
Long, four plank pine top with mellow blonde hues offers fine grain interest
Ebonised Victorian pine finish to the frame and legs creates a wonderful contrast with the top
Over an inch thick, the stout top replete with cleated ends
Of useful height for the taller, modern diner - standing at 80cm (31.5") high
A square section apron with broad block shoulders to each corner
Raised upon tall, classic baluster turned legs offering a kneehole height of 65.5cm (25.75")
The whole stands upon four broad cylindrical feet beneath stout tapered legs
