Antique large 18C 2 plank elm refectory dining table 8'.
Quality rare 2 plank elm table that oozes rustic charm.
Fantastically patinated and a very rare find, with simple rustic styling and a magnificent top! Lovely gnarled, distorted and worn timbers.
Overall maximum dimensions:
242.5cmL x 83cmW x 75cmH (62.5cm high knee hole).
Historic knocks, marks, scratches, distortion, cracks, repairs and alterations as is always the way and to be expected with antique furniture. Loads of historic extinct woodworm holes (as you would expect and want to see with period elm), treated for good measure. Top has been refixed and one of the end plank ties has been replaced.
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person(s) for our driver to assist with carrying.
