A charming 17th century carved oak coffer, having much warmth and character.

Dating to the second half of the 17thc.

The three planked moulded edge top is above a pretty lunette carved frieze rail, over five lozenge carved panels.

With panelled sides.

The oak is a medium oak colour, having developed a rich warmth and depth of colour to the oak over the many centuries.

Offers an abundance of storage space.

The overall condition is excellent antique condition, with signs of use consistent with age.

Very solid sturdy and strong.

Bees-waxed and polished.
