This is an attractive and good quality antique Sheraton style Jaycee leather serpentine writing table, circa 1940 – 1950.

This is an attractive and good quality antique Sheraton style burr walnut serpentine leather writing table, circa 1940 – 1950. The writing table is stamped with “Jaycee” in the right hand drawer (cabinet maker). The writing table boasts a curved gallery above a bank of six central drawers and enclosed with a cupboard either side. A serpentine gold and leather tooled insert sits above two serpentine satinwood inlaid drawers. The serpentine drawers’ features brass loop handles. The table sits on Sheraton style tapering spade feet. The drawer bottoms are constructed of engineered timber and the drawers linings are constructed of oak.
