Lacquered and Gilt Chinoiserie Coffee Table c1920

This Coffee table, in my opinion has been converted from 19th century gilded panel. This was very fashionable in the 1920’s and would have been done In China for the European market. The panel has exceptional quality gilded images and the lacquer work it has been cleverly constructed to hold a protective glass top. It is in very good original condition with minor age related wear.
