Stunning late 19th.c. French walnut double bed c.1890. Shapely head and foot boards with crisply carved decoration, symmetrically arranged walnut veneers, raised mouldings and unusual bombé shaped centre panels. Solid oak side rails, also shaped, veneered and carved to match. Carved feet front and rear. Good large bed (internal dimensions 60″ x 80″), big enough take a king size double bed base and mattress. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
