This is a very pretty Meiji period inlaid table cabinet with lovely warm colours dating from around 1870. The cabinet has varied parquetry work throughout and a pair of lacquered doors attractively inlaid with mother of pearl in a floral design. The cabinet is in good order overall with the hinges and drawers operating fine. There are a couple of handles that are later replacements and there is no longer a key for the doors. The drawers all run freely and there is a hinged lid with sectional storage fitted to the top. This has a good antique patina and the exotic woods have lovely warm and varied colours throughout the piece.

The cabinet measures 34 cms high 30 cms wide by 15 cms deep.
