A good quality cannelee cased full size French carriage antique clock. Concave and convex case mouldings. An enamel dial with 5 minute outer markers and 'moon' blued steel hands. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong. Numbered 317 and the original lever escapement. Push button repeating. Retailed by J. Cameron & Son of Kilmarnock. Circa 1885.
