Unusual late 19th.c. Neoclassical Italian gilded standard lamp c.1890. Bulb raised upon a 10″ tall wooden faux candle complete with wax drips, on a gilded column with craved floral detail and a Corinthian capital. Moulded plinth base with flower head decoration to each side and raised on carved claw feet painted to resemble marble. Original gilding with some obvious wear in places. Cleaned and rewired and sold with a PAT test certificate.
Dimensions: height to bulb 56″, width & depth at feet 9½”. Please contact us for more images, delivery and shipping quotes.
