A superb quality late Victorian dressing table in the highly desirable Kidney shape. Made from solid satinwood with stunning satinwood veneers. Decorated with tastefully restrained ebony stringing inlay. This dressing table incorporates a highly innovative and unusual mirror configuration. The central , shield shaped, mirror adjusts in angle up and down. The two outer, oval shaped, mirrors can extend and swing outwards on elaborate fretwork panels , or be locked in place either side of the central mirror.
There is a series of 5 drawers, fitted with nice crisp brass hardware. The table stands well on elegant turned reeded legs, united by x-frame under-stretchers, and terminating in their original brass castors. This dressing table comes complete with its original matching stool. This lovely item of antique furniture truly is of the highest quality, one of the finest dressing antique tables I have ever seen. It is offered for sale in excellent original condition, ready to go straight into the home.
