A stylish and attractive mahogany display cabinet from the Arts and Crafts period. The cabinet is of high quality manufacture, constructed from a very good grade of solid mahogany timber. There is banded and strung inlay throughout , including the legs. The main decoration comes in the form of two stunning inlaid panels set into the two cupboard doors. Each is of a floral scene , and made up of inlaid satinwood , mother of pearl and pen and ink work decoration. These panels are of the highest quality. The two end cupboards open to access shelved storage space behind . They flank a central glazed cabinet door of bow fronted outline which opens to access a lined and shelved display space. The whole cabinet stands on elegant , refined, square tapering legs, terminating in spade feet and united by and under-tier. This cabinet is offered for sale in excellent original condition, ready to go straight into the home.
