This surely has to be the 'daddy' of all Bakelite lamps and for those who love the streamline design as I do, well this fills all criteria's. If you haven't handled one of these lamps before you'll be surprised by two things, the weight, definitely two hands to lift it and the size, when closed it's close to a good sized roast chicken! This lamp is totally authentic and is remarkable condition. Produced in the 1930's through to the 1950's and originates from France. It's free from nibbles, discolouration, chips, cracks and scratches, in fact it's hard to find any flaws to note. The colouring can only be best described as milk chocolate and as you can see from the pictures also looks good enough to eat. It's marked underneath made in France and Jumo Brevete. This lamp definitely exudes quality in every aspect.
