Huge Mahogany Extending Dining Table. C. 1900
Massively impressive late 19th to early 20th century solid mahogany screw wind extending dining table. The first thing to say is the table is 4 meters 10cm
(13 foot 6") long when fully extended with all the leaves in and exactly 4 foot wide. The table is in very good order. The table has four fairly large cabriole legs at each corner. It extends easily and smoothly with the original winding key. The bearers underneath are all ash and are all in perfect order. The table comes with all 5 of the original leaves. Would easily seat 16 - 18 people. The top is a nice colour and is pretty uniform throughout. The metal winding mechanism underneath is in good order with no slackness. The great thing about this table apart from its size is there are no legs in the way when sitting to it. Loads of pictures so I'll let the pictures do the talking.
