Hoof Foot Georgian Mahogany Tripod Table c.1765. Georgian mahogany tripod %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Fine George III mahogany tilt top tripod table c.1765. With a slim 23″ diameter single piece top in solid mahogany on a crisp turned mahogany column with twist carved detail. Raised on gracefully shaped legs ending in a very unusual foot carved to resemble a horse’s hoof . Beautiful condition, simply cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Though it seems the catch has been repositioned at some point it is in our opinion original to the table.
Dimensions: diameter 23″, height 27½”.
