A retro handbag mirror suitable for use with both loose and compressed face powder, such as Max Factor Creme Puff & Rimmel Stay Matte. The lid is decorated with embossed roses on an etched background that the makers of the Stratton brand named 'Linen'. The compact is in excellent condition. The presentation box, sifter, instruction leaflet and foam puff come with this item. The base has an engine turned design that is known as the 'Woven effect'. Measures 3" & weighs 71.3 grams. Free lavishly illustrated history of this piece included.
