This is a really good quality Victorian period bedside cabinet in ebonised hardwood with stuning inlays of satinwood and oak. The cabinet is lined in solid white marble inside and the back of the door is veneered in birds eye maple. There is a working lock and key to the door and the drawer above is in solid oak, ebonised and inlaid. The top has a beautiful solid rouge marble slab inset and the cabinet has an undertier shelf that is also beautifully inlaid in a matching design. The cabinet has attractively swept cabriole legs carved with acanthus detail at the top and is raised on its original wooden castors. The bedside cabinet is a substantial size measuring 93 cms high 50 cms wide by 42 cms deep.
