This is a good early 20th century large mahogany book trough with a lovely colour dating from around 1920. The piece is in super condition with good sound construction. This has a turned cross stretcher joining the slender legs with neat pad feet. The upper shelf surface is in an attractive flame mahogany veneer which is raised ever so slightly in one or two areas but has a good colour and patina.
The elegant and practical design of this has a really appealing country house look and it is substantial in size measuring 85 cms high 93 cms wide by 40 cms deep.
