Gilt Filigree & Enamel Brass Carriage Clock c1905


Attractive enamel brass French timepiece carriage antique clock with gilt filigree panels c1905. The clock has a rectangular brass case with reeded corners and decorated frieze to top and base – all with applied enamel detailing. Corner finials and shaped reeded handle. Bevelled glass panels with rectangular bevelled top window displaying its original cylinder platform escapement. Blind gilt filigree fretwork panel of flowers and foliage to the front and matching open gilt fretwork panels to both sides. Cream enameled chapter ring with Arabic numerals with gilt filigree center. An 8-day timepiece only movement. Supplied with double-ended brass key. Clock height to top of handle is 15.5 cm and 12 cm excluding handle and finials, width is 8 cm and depth 6.5 cm. Fully serviced. The clock's movement is covered by our 12-month warranty in the UK.
This clock is in excellent condition commensurate with age. Dial and glass panels are all in perfect undamaged condition. Brass case has a lovely aged patina. In perfect working order.
