GIllows’ Bedside Cabinet.
Circa 1815. A quality Regency mahogany bedside cabinet, probably by GIllows’ of Lancaster. The tall rectangular cabinet with shaped gallery on three sides, dipping at the front, with two elegant pierced lifting handles to the sides. One full sized door with wonderful flamed mahogany and ebonized knob for opening the concealed clasp. Beneath the beaded door, there's a small ribbed moulding which runs round the entire bedside cabinet, which is polished on all sides. All resting on classic turned fluted and tapering legs typical of Gallows’.
