Vintage Kigu 'Minuette' musical powder

An unused Kigu 'Minuette' made in Kigu's heyday. The lid has gorgeous gilt engraved design. The interior all gilt jeweller's /jeweler's finish & signed 'KIGU' within the registered triangular trademark & the word 'Minuette' inscribed too. Turn the key clockwise four times & the adorable tune plays really well. Just delightful! The little musical powder box has all the original accessories making this a wonderful find. The pouch, puff & sifter are pristine. The Dorothy Bag (pouch) is decorated with gilt thread & white embroidered flowers. The whole musical powder box is in excellent condition, including the bevelled mirror which gives a good & accurate reflection. The edges are scalloped & the base is signed 'KIGU MADE IN ENGLAND'. All clasps & hinges work perfectly.

This 1950s Kigu 'Concerto' measures 31/4" & weighs 115.8 grams.
