German ersatz WW1 bayonet
Having just emerged from long term storage this German all steel bayonet awaits a new owner.
Length of blade 310mm - overall length about 435mm. Length of scabbard 385mm. Sprung button fully operational and has inspection stamp at top of blade (see pic).
Overall rusting but as you will see good metal lurks beneath this and no attempt has been made to clean as this pleasure should be the purchaser's. Scabbard is likewise and its 100 or so years have resulted in the leather becoming bowed. Liberal application of neats foot oil or some leather balm, combined with pressing, might well restore its original shape.
