Good Georgian Scottish laburnum wood towel rail. Nice shaping to the top and bottom of the ends as shown in the pictures. Three bars for towels.

Laburnum wood grew naturally in Scotland mainly in the Perthshire area and was used in country house antique furniture. It is quite a dark wood but has light streaks throughout and take a great shine.
