Description:
This is a fine quality Regency figured mahogany ‘D’ end tea table, circa 1820, in good original condition. It is called a ‘tea table’ because it was used for serving tea. The table features a solid mahogany top with reeded edge, with a fine frieze to the front and sides. The table leaf folds open on the original brass hinges and rests on the two baize-topped rear legs, to reveal a stunning figured mahogany top. The table stands on four elegant ring turned and reeded tapering legs.
The table boasts a deep rich brown mahogany colour. As the item retains its original polish, it has fantastic colour and patination this is due to the years of care and cleaning it has received.
This item would look superb in a variety of rooms, including the hallway, study or living room. This truly is a very beautiful item with quality construction and is original throughout. This table is in good original condition. The top is free from any ink stains or watermarks. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges, but nothing significant, considering the age of the item. The table retains its original polish, this exhibiting a stunning rich colour and patination. The folding leaf retains its original hinges and the legs, which swing out to support the table. There is no damage to the top or inside of the table.

Delivery times are usually 1-4 weeks depending on location we aim to deliver the majority of items within 2 weeks. All items are professionally packaged and fully insured in transit, therefore, we can assure you, your items will be securely protected in transit and arrive safely with you.
