Fine late Georgian example of the classic oak Welsh dresser, probably made in the Caernarfon area here in North Wales c.1800. Well proportioned plate rack with three shelves and a row of five small spice drawers. Moulded cornice and attractively shaped sides and shoes. Over a cupboard base with two large drawers and two cupboards either side of four smaller drawers down the centre. Simple square door panels, original heavy brass knobs and original bracket feet. Excellent condition and particularly good colour. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied for the cupboard doors.
